Brunilde, campione Thunderbike 2010, sta preparandosi per il 2011.
Allo studio l'utilizzo di una nuova testa speciale Rotax della quale esistono pochissimi esemplari al mondo, uno dei quali è nelle mani di JJ.
Testa con doppio albero a camme, raffreddamento a liquido e 3 candele.
Un nuovo pistone artigianale super leggero completa il quadro.
A presto i tests in pista.

Misano report

Misano was a good training for Jacopo,
lot's of laps with both bikes.
The Favorita is getting every time better,
way faster than the Harley and with some set-up
is now Jacopo weapon of choice for the next races!

A Misano Adriatico nel week end della moto GP si terrà una gara dimostrativa di flat track. Previste due gare oggi (una di giorno e una serale) e due domani (stessa formula)sull'ovale sterrato di 250 metri di lunghezza presso il lungomare.
La manifestazione è organizzata dall'ex pilota italiano di speedway Salvatelli, amico di JJ, molto noto nell'ambiente delle piste ovali, ancora nel cuore degli appassionati per la sue grandi doti di guida.
Molti i piloti ospiti previsti per l'evento.
Per JJ si tratta di un'ottimo allenamento in vista delle ultime due gare del campionato inglese.

Road to Buxton!

We're heading to Buxton Derbyshire for round 5 of Pozzani Silkolene Shortrack Championship.

Hidden in the Van we have loaded the Step 3 of the "Favorita" that we hope will manintain the expectations after the last mods.

Proto Step 2

Since the very beginning the newborn was already having a precise name in my mind..."La Favorita" (the favourite)

This is STEP 2, the bike that allowed me to set my fastest lap time in Stoke (it lapped faster than "Brunilde", my Harley Rotax)...not bad at all for a newborn bike that did probably not more than 30 laps in its life...

I still have plenty of new ideas and things to change to look for improvements...stay tuned cause STEP 3 is coming soon...

Proto Step 1

It all started from a 2009 CRF450R...
then we moved it to a shed in the industrial area of Gallarate
were I took care of it with my friend Ulde and his tools...
I always tought that a motocross frame was too large and
heavy for flat track racing so we cut it and weld it again
to have a more compact unit...
so we came to STEP 1, renamed by my friend Phil as
"the black widow"....

The Proto is here, beware the proto!

ARRIVA IL CASTIGAMATTI ! Nuova Honda CRF450R per la stagione 2010 !

Nonostante il fortissimo legame affettivo e gli splendidi risultati ottenuti in sella alla fida "Brunilde" (Harley Rotax), era da un pò di tempo che J pensava di passare ad una moto di nuova generazione, un cross 450 4 tempi da preparare per lo short track. La Bruna avrebbe richiesto un sostanzioso lifting per tornare splendente come ai vecchi tempi e non avrebbe comunque eguagliato la tecnologia delle moto degli ultimi anni. Ed ecco arrivare una fiammante Honda CRF450 R modello 2009 con tanto di iniezione elettronica. In vista del debutto in gara, previsto in UK il 27 Dicembre in occasione della gara indoor "Braintree Bonanza" organizzata dal vulcanico Pete Boast, J ha apportato alcune modifiche preliminari alla sua nuova moto: forcella anteriore WP a steli rovesciati, manubrio da short-track, mono posteriore Yamaha R6, ruota anteriore da 19 pollici e pneumatici Maxxis. Al rientro dalla gara inglese sono previste ulteriori modifiche per migliorare il mezzo. Obiettivo 2010 la partecipazione all'intero campionato inglese di specialità. Ci sarà da divertirsi, E' ARRIVATO IL CASTIGAMATTI !.
